With a team now comprising 4,500 members across 104 countries, spanning 28 time zones, and speaking 74 languages, Deel has redefined the modern workplace. This remarkable expansion has allowed the company to understand better and meet its global clients’ needs, leveraging on-the-ground expertise to provide unparalleled service.
Deel’s global footprint and commitment to flexibility have positioned it as a true leader in the remote workspace. This year, the company made massive strides in supporting workers worldwide. Deel facilitated the payment of $11.2 billion to workers in over 100 currencies, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for its diverse workforce. Moreover, Deel expanded healthcare and benefits to workers in 109 countries and approved over 765,000 vacation days, giving employees the time off they need to recharge.
This year also marked Deel’s success in simplifying global mobility. Through extensive support in navigating immigration processes, Deel helped workers apply for and secure visas in 33 countries, dedicating three million hours to smooth and successful applications. These efforts have made it easier for companies to hire top talent worldwide, fostering a more connected and dynamic workforce.
In addition to supporting its employees, Deel expanded its services through strategic acquisitions. Integrating Payspace, Zavvy, and Hofy has significantly enhanced Deel’s platform. Payspace now powers Deel Global Payroll, expanding the company’s payroll capabilities to over 100 countries. Zavvy has transformed Deel Engage, bringing talent management and engagement tools to the platform. While Hofy’s integration as Deel IT ensures that remote workers have the necessary tools to succeed.
Deel’s relentless innovation and commitment to improving its products were evident throughout the year, with over 1,100 product updates. This continuous effort to exceed expectations contributed to acquiring new customers, including Instacart, OpenAI, and DoorDash. Deel also garnered recognition, landing spots on prestigious lists such as CNBC’s Disruptor 50 and Forbes’s Cloud 100.
