Revolut Portuguese IBANs are here. The fintech giant now offers local IBANs to all customers in Portugal. New users will receive a Portuguese IBAN when they open an account. Existing customers can switch to a PT IBAN if they choose.

The move makes Revolut accounts feel more like a local bank. Salaries can be received directly into a Revolut account. Users can pay bills and set up direct debits without extra paperwork. Portuguese IBANs start with “PT50” and use the SWIFT/BIC code REVOPTP2.

Revolut Bank UAB – Sucursal em Portugal operates the accounts. The branch is registered with the Bank of Portugal under number 3560. This ensures compliance with local regulations while offering familiar European IBAN services. Customers can keep, receive, and exchange 36 currencies.

To find their IBAN, users log in to the Revolut app. They navigate to the ‘Home’ screen, tap ‘Accounts,’ select the Euro account, and then tap ‘Details.’ Full account information, including the IBAN, will appear. Customers can now receive payments from anywhere in Europe directly into their PT IBAN. They can also manage multiple currencies seamlessly within the same account.
