Revolut is entering the mobile market soon, launching Mobile Plans to challenge established telecom providers. The fintech giant, known for its innovative financial services, will offer unlimited calls, texts, and domestic data, alongside 20GB of roaming in the EU and the US. Best of all, users won’t be tied to a fixed contract.

Initially, the service will roll out in the UK and Germany. Customers can join the waitlist for early access and an exclusive introductory rate of £12.50 per month. Additionally, they can keep their current mobile number or choose a new one from Revolut. Users will manage everything through the Revolut app, where they can easily monitor usage, adjust settings, and even pay with RevPoints—the company’s loyalty rewards system.

This mobile offering builds on the success of Revolut’s eSIM service, launched in 2024. The eSIM quickly became Revolut’s most popular non-banking feature. As a result, millions of customers have activated data plans in over 100 countries, positioning Revolut as a strong player in digital connectivity. Now, the company aims to disrupt the mobile service space by expanding its reach even further.

Revolut is Entering the Mobile Market Soon

Revolut enters the market at a time when UK consumers face higher roaming charges due to post-Brexit regulatory changes. Traditional providers have brought back expensive charges for European travel, creating an opportunity for more flexible and competitive solutions. Revolut plans to fill this gap by offering transparency, control, and value through its user-friendly app-based plans.

“We believe the mobile industry is overdue for change,” said Hadi Nasrallah, Revolut’s General Manager of Telco and Retail. Consumers are tired of hidden fees, outdated interfaces, and poor support. Our Mobile Plans solve those problems.”

Ultimately, Revolut is entering the mobile market with a service that redefines basic telecom offerings. As part of its broader lifestyle ecosystem, users can book travel, earn rewards, and stay connected, locally and internationally, through a single, integrated platform. With more markets to come, Revolut’s telecom expansion marks a significant shift in how consumers will manage mobile services in the digital age.
