Provide Personal Information

Verify Identity
You will be required to verify your identity by providing Curve with a valid, government-issued ID with your current address, for example, your driver’s license, state ID, or passport. Keep in mind that this process is safe, and your information will be stored safely and used only to verify your identity in order for you to become eligible and start using your virtual Curve card.
Go Through the Eligibility Process
This step involves checking your eligibility with Curve. You will be able to provide them with your annual income and some other general questions regarding your credit capabilities. Keep in mind that credit decisions are made by Curve’s lending partner, meaning that they are the ones who decide if you will receive access to your virtual Curve card.
Receive Virtual Curve Card
With successful approval, you will become eligible to start spending by receiving immediate access to your virtual Curve card.
Types of Fees
Curve offers a transparent fee structure, providing users with clarity on various charges, including card, transfer, ATM, deposit, and currency exchange fees.
Card Fee
In the Standard plan, you will receive your physical card for a delivery fee of £5.99. However, by choosing the X, Black, or Metal plan, you will receive your physical card for free, but there will be a monthly fee of £5.99 up to £17.99, depending on the plan you select.
ATM Fee
ATM fees for withdrawing money vary according to the card your Curve is linked to and if you are making a domestic or foreign withdrawal. Domestic ATM withdrawals limit you to 10 free withdrawals per month. After the 10th withdrawal, you will be charged £0.50 per transaction if the linked card is a debit card. If it is a credit card, it is only free up to £200 per month and a 2% fee after. On the other hand, foreign ATM withdrawals are free up to €200 per month but cost a minimum of £2 or 2% per transaction, whichever is higher. Keep in mind that there is also a weekend exchange rate, which is 0.5% for conversions between GBP, USD, and EUR and 1.5% if it involves any other currency.
You should also remember that these fees are changed by Curve and come in addition to the ones that are charged by your debit/credit card. This means that if your credit card has a 2% fee for withdrawals, you will be charged the 2% as well as the previously mentioned fees that are set by Curve.
Currency Exchange Fee
There is no currency exchange fee for spending with Curve in any other currency than one of your credit/debit cards for up to £500 per each 30 calendar days period. However, above the £500 there is a 2% fee. Additionally, there are also weekend exchange rate changes, which are 0.5% for conversions between GBP, USD, and EUR, and 1.5% if any other currency is involved in the transaction.
