Revolut has surpassed 80 million customers globally, marking another major step in the fintech company’s rapid expansion. Revolut surpasses 80 Million Customers Globally, just three months after crossing the 75 million mark. The company now serves customers across more than 40 countries.

The latest milestone highlights how quickly Revolut has expanded its customer base. The company added 5 million customers between May 27 and August 24, 2026. That equals roughly one million new customers every 18 days.

Revolut began in the UK in 2015, focusing on foreign exchange and international money transfers. Since then, it has expanded into a broader financial platform.

The company now offers services including banking, payments, currency exchange, investing, and other personal finance tools. Its international transfer services also support payments across more than 160 countries and territories.

The rapid customer growth follows a strong 2025. Revolut reported 69.1 million customers by the end of that year, including 68.3 million retail customers and more than 750,000 business customers. It operated across 39 countries at the time.

Revolut also reported $6 billion in revenue for 2025. Profit before tax reached $2.3 billion. The company added 16 million customers during the year. The customer milestone comes as Revolut continues to strengthen its private-market valuation.

A secondary share sale in July valued the company at $115 billion. The transaction priced shares at $2,017 each. It represented an increase of more than 50% from the $75 billion valuation recorded in 2025.

The latest valuation has strengthened Revolut’s position among Europe’s most valuable fintech companies.

Revolut is not slowing its expansion. The company has maintained its target of reaching 100 million retail customers by mid-2027.

Reaching that target would require another 20 million customers in less than a year. Its latest growth rate suggests the company has built significant momentum toward that goal.

From a small startup founded in 2015, Revolut has grown into a global financial platform. Its latest milestone shows how quickly digital banking continues to reshape consumer finance.
